We are dedicated to promoting and enhancing healthy lifestyles by raising awareness about mental health, encouraging healthy eating habits, and promoting an active lifestyle in our communities. We work tirelessly to cultivate leadership among our youth, foster inclusion, and advocate for racial equity.

Food distribution

Mi Casita Pantry is a free resource available to families and individuals facing food insecurity.

Our goal is to make sure no one experiences hunger and to offer food in a friendly, welcoming, and equitable environment to all those who walk through our doors. All who are involved with Mi Casita pantry, including volunteers and guests, are treated with dignity and respect. Language assistance available in English and Spanish.

First call 952-245-0697 to schedule an appointment or schedule an appointment here. On your first visit, you will be asked to fill out a short intake form.

Then you will be given a brief orientation of the variety of foods and household items we have available. Based on your household size you may select up to a certain number of items.

Mi Casita Pantry operates a client choice model where you shop for what you like and need.

After the first visit, you will only be asked your name and you’ll be able to start shopping.

What are cultural navigators?
Cultural Navigators are mentors who can help reduce the stress of cultural adjustment, strengthen linkages with vital services and resources as well as open doors to family-focused activities and community involvement. Summer Camp

Each year we offer an academic and activity-based summer program, for 6 weeks to preschool-12 grade students.


Soccer Camp

In collaboration with Carver County Public Health and other partners we offer a 6 week soccer camp to children from preschool-8th grade. Participants will gain technical skills, sport knowledge, learn life skills like teamwork and sportsmanship.

Volunteer

Mi CASA is an organization that is community-driven and run. Our volunteers are an invaluable resource. We welcome all individuals, community groups, schools, and businesses to be partners in our mission to provide resources to those in need.
